A good blender is worth the investment when it comes to making smoothies. I have tried many types of blender, and my favorite blender is the Vitamix brand (E310 Explorian). I have it linked here if you want to check it out.

How to Make a Mango Pineapple Smoothie
Start with Gathering Smoothie Ingredients
#1 Mango Chunks
For this recipe, frozen mango is one of the main ingredients. Using frozen mango is great because there is no knife required. All you have to do is open a bag of frozen mangoes.
The good news is that the nutritional value of frozen mango and fresh is the same. So pop open that bag and make it easy on yourself.
Now, that being said, feel free to use fresh mango if you wish. Fresh mango that is overripe is perfect to use in smoothies. Moreover, if you have fresh mango that you want to peel and slice for another day is great for freezing to use in a future smoothie recipe.

#2 Pineapple
Get your can opener ready, and grab your can of pineapple. The convenience of using canned pineapple is impeccable.
After opening the can, drain the juice. But wait a minute, don’t throw it out. The pineapple juice makes a fantastic ingredient for sauces or just mix with water for a refreshing juice infused water.
Similar to the mango, you can use fresh pineapple if you wish.
#3 Coconut Milk
Coconut milk is a great ingredient to get the tropical vibes in full effect in this recipe. Choose unsweetened coconut milk to have less added sugar. The sweetness of the fruit does sweeten this recipe. Add more honey if further sweetness is desired.

#4 Vanilla Greek Yogurt
The yogurt is going to make the smoothie nice, thick, and creamy. Moreover, it will add a delicious flavor to the smoothie that you won’t want to miss.
Yogurt also adds some protein to the smoothie, especially using Greek yogurt. Feel free to substitute a yogurt that you might have on hand. I used Activia yogurt in these pictures because that is what I had on hand.
#5 Honey
The recipe doesn’t call for a lot of honey. A little bit goes along way. Just adding a tablespoon will deliver a good sweetness. However, if you need it sweeter, feel free to customize your smoothie.

#6 Ground Ginger
Ground ginger adds a hint of flavor in the background. If you prefer fresh ginger, feel free to use it. However, I keep ground ginger in my spice cabinet, so it is very convenient when I need it.
#7 Ice
The ice add that nice cool touch to the smoothie that creates the texture of a true smoothie.
